TGIF began over 10 years ago...

The brainchild of two Hanover friends who’d pulled one another through breast cancer. Now, the group is over 50 members strong. We’re teachers, and nurses, and lawyers, and writers, and stay-at-home moms. We work at the hospital, the college, at local businesses... and all over the country. Most of us live in the Upper Valley. All of us have dealt with breast cancer. But we’re not survivors – that term denotes someone clinging helplessly to a life raft. We’re not helpless; we worked hard to get through breast cancer, and many of us continue to deal with it every day. So no, we’re not mere survivors. We’re CONQUERORS.
